Blue Mother’s Day

Today, is a day that can be difficult as you see everyone celebrating. Maybe you’re a mom still waiting to hear a baby call you mama. Maybe you lost a baby. Whatever the circumstances, this blue heart is for you. This is #bluemothersday.

I was pregnant naturally in 2015. I heard the heartbeat and I had an ultrasound photo. A few short weeks at the 12 week appointment, I learned that the pregnancy was lost. One of my friends was pregnant with me at the same time. She had her baby. Every time I see her baby, I think of my lost one or what would have been. I’ve been unsuccessful at pregnancy since.

This hashtag is for the women that are struggling today. We’re here for you! I know first hand how difficult this day can be. Allow yourself the space to grieve, but also make sure that you do something for yourself. You’re allowed to used this day to remember or to take extra care for yourself.
